Nearly 75 years ago Elizabeth and Eddie Clarkson began the development of the garden we know today as Wing Haven. Thanks to the generous support provided through our membership, we continue to enjoy the garden and bird sanctuary that have grown from the Clarksons’ vision. We hope that you will consider joining Wing Haven. Your support will help us protect the Clarksons’ vision within the garden walls. At the same time, we can share the Clarksons’ vision outside the walls of Wing Haven. Your membership will help us to expand our educational programs for both children and adults. It will also allow us to expand our partnerships with schools in the Charlotte community as they create their own gardens.

We encourage you to join Wing Haven and help support this very special garden and wildlife sanctuary.

Membership Benefits

Individual: $45

Quarterly newsletter with event announcements and tips on gardening and bird behavior.
Member discounts on classes and workshops for adults.
·Admission for one to Spring and Fall Plant Sales on Member’s Day.
·10% discount at Campbell’s Greenhouses and Wild Birds Unlimited. Please be prepared to show your Wing Haven membership card when making purchases.
Free admission and additional benefits at botanical gardens across the country. Information about the reciprocal admissions program is available at the American Horticultural Society website: http://ahs.org/events/reciprocal_events.htm.

Family $75
All of the above plus:

Family members and guests may attend Cardinal and Chickadee (ages 5-8) activities.
Children and Grandchildren of Family members may enroll in Wing Haven Children’s programs.

Patron $150
All of the above plus:

Invitation to the annual Patron’s Party.

Grand Patron $250
All of the above plus:

Two tickets to the Gardeners’ Garden Tour held in May of each year. Tickets will be mailed to eligible members in April prior to the tour.

Sponsor $500
All of the above plus:

A $50 credit to be used at the Wing Haven Nursery.

Benefactor $1000
All of the above plus:

One free use of the education building for a group of up to 25 people.

The opportunity to host a private dinner party (up to 20 people) in the Clarkson home.
