Marketing/Communications/ Project Coordinator
Full Time – Reports to Executive Director
8:30 – 5:00 Monday - Friday


Overall description:
Serve on the leadership team and be the primary advisor to the Executive Director, Development Director and Board program committee on communications, events and programs. Manage the overall communications for Wing Haven including digital strategy, digital marketing, project management, social media and writing. Project coordinator for events, programs, PR, volunteers. Support team, board members and volunteers as needed. Serve as ambassador for Wing Haven.


Primary Responsibilities:
Wing Haven Ambassador: primary point of contact for visitors and callers.


Dash Board: create a measurement tool and templates “Dash Board” to track and report Programming - enrollment, feedback, Financials – donors, contributions, sponsorships, etc., PR - social media analytics, Events – types, number per month, etc….


Recruit and schedule volunteers: paid docents/hostesses for house and gardens public hours of admission and for the office. Maintain online calendar for staff and committee chairs. Create volunteer manual and provide training for new volunteers at the office as well as the Clarkson and Elizabeth Lawrence House


Program development: work with programs committee, Executive Director and Development Director to create programs in line with our mission that will appeal to a variety of audiences and engage the broader community. Manage on line registration.


Event Coordinator: to include promoting rentals of Wing Havens facilities, meet with perspective clients, prepare contracts, insure proper setup for rentals, and ensure staff coverage. Coordinate Wing Haven events.


Manage digital fundraising and digital marketing: knowledge, management and oversight of Social media... Scheduled web blasts to all members and additional data base contacts.  Facebook, Twitter, Tumbler. Knowledge of web metrics and analytics.
Manage Communications: prepare and coordinate distribution of press releases, advertisements, the Warbler, Winter Lecture Series brochures, invitations.

Master Calendar:  create and manage on-line calendar for all of the meeting/rental facilities, Wing Haven events, board/committee meetings and team member engagements at Wing Haven.
Administrative support to Finance: bank deposits, assembling receipts, getting ED’s prior approval for requisitions and invoices to be paid, as needed.

Excellent Technology Skills (Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, Donor Perfect)
Social Media Skills (Facebook, Twitter, Web design, q-web metrics, tumbler – blogging platform)
Excellent communication skills
