Open to the Public: Wednesday-Saturday, October 7 - 10, 10 am to 4 pm

A Wing Haven Plant sale is really for the birds! Our Nursery Shop is bursting at the seams with unique plants, tools, and gifts for the garden for your garden and home. We have an incredible selection of plants—unusual shrubs, antique roses, herbs, perennials, native plants, groundcovers, bulbs, and more. Plus our volunteers can give you plenty of advice on how to make them flourish. All proceeds benefit Wing Haven, a Charlotte treasure since 1927.  

A detailed plant list will be available in late September.

Beauty and Bounty in the Garden
2009 Symposium featuring Barbara Damrosch and Eliot Coleman
Thursday-Friday, October 22-23, 2009 

This year’s program is about creating beauty and bounty in our own backyards, ‘victory’ gardens for these trying times. Special guests will be Washington Post columnist Barbara Damrosch and her husband, organic farmer Eliot Coleman. Together they own and operate Maine’s Four Season Farm, a nationally recognized model of small-scale sustainable agriculture, and have written many books.
