When Elizabeth Clarkson and Elizabeth Lawrence gardened on Ridgewood Avenue during the last century, neither could have imagined the changes that lay ahead for Charlotte.

Yet, against a backdrop of skyscrapers, their gardens continue to thrive, teach and inspire.

PURPOSE

The purpose of the organization is to preserve, promote and perpetuate the mission of Wing Haven by:

honoring the philosophies and work of the original gardeners

owning and maintaining the properties of Wing Haven

offering educational and outreach opportunities

sponsoring programs and events to benefit the organization
